Totally agree! I got the same insert as you and I actually like my Peak again now. Loading it around the concave walls is sometimes difficult depending on the consistency of the material, but that's a minor inconvenience. It makes my Peak hit better than ever before, and it's super easy to keep...

The final release version of the Carta is not out yet, so it's kinda hard to compare a product that's been out for a year to one that technically nobody here has even used yet. Nobody would recommend a beta carta over a peak, but that's not really a fair comparison.

I've taken a few green and red hits off my EQ fitted insert so far and they have been notably milker and tastier than the ceramic. I am pleasantly surprised. The downside is that despite being fitted, it's still not snug inside the atomizer with the cap on the way the ceramic cup is. So you...

Those actually look pretty nice. The splash guard is a clever little bit of engineering too. I suspect they will work better than most other aftermarket buckets. And if that's the case, worth the $$

I'm skeptical of this, especially since it's something Puffco hasn't publicized at all. I will be waiting to see what they have to say about it, and what kind of impact it can have on your base & atty. That said, if you really can open up the temp range of the Peak without any consequences....sweet!

Sure, but it's glass-blowing, not rocket surgery. There's a lot of money to be made by mass-producing cheap glass for the Peak. Someone is bound to do it soon.

It will overheat like that if the atomizer isn't properly threaded into the base. Adjust the atomizer and try again, it should be fine. However, I haven't heard of many (or any) people successfully using the quartz bucket in the v1 atomizer without major spillage and loss of material. I'd just...
