I was lucky enough to meet the FocusV team today (I called it "focus five" in front of them :doh:) who made good on their promise to swap out my base irl rather than having to warranty it. After meeting them, I feel I can comfortably dismiss anyone saying they've had an "abysmal" experience...

If your complaint is that you had a hard time getting in touch with them when they have phone number that by all accounts they actually answer when you call, just don't be surprised if some folks don't take your complaint seriously. Randall said on the stream today that the app got rejected...

They're having the identical issue with both app stores? Seems kinda weird. The review process does not take this long unless there are problems.

Does anyone know what the actual hold up with the app is? Like, have they given anyone a straight answer yet?

I think it's more likely that someone who isn't seeking out the latest phone every year also won't be seeking the latest bluetooth app enabled portable electronic dab rig. That said, even those who don't update their devices yearly still update their OS, to the point where iOS 10 is basically...

I'm not sure it's reasonable to expect a brand new app to work on that old of a mobile OS. 11 maybe, but 10 is a stretch. Just don't hold it against the company if it's not compatible!

I know. I'm a beta customer but haven't heard anything from the manufacturer about getting the dry herb atty yet, that's why I asked.

I wouldn't even bother trying to do that. The atomizers are susceptible enough to failure as it is. Since the manufacturer specifically told us they wouldn't work together, seems like you're just inviting problems. Even if it appears to work properly, you don't know what kind of damage may be...

1 week later, just cleaned it out again and it's surprising how much oil is winding up down there. Definitely a few dabs worth at least. This is only about half the qtips I just used to wipe out that very small air path. Anyone else clean this area out recently?

I have almost 600, and all of my atomizers are at various points of failure. I wouldn't stress about it too much, just making an observation from my vantage.

fwiw I have yet to encounter a yellow light that I haven't been able to fix myself. Whether it's by simply power cycling the base, or readjusting the atomizer, or taking it apart and cleaning gunk out of the threading - so far the problem has always been solvable for me. That said, the frequency...
