AVM batteries it said to use.....I think that was the problem...I didn't have the rod out far enough I think, So whats the technique here, hold the button down and hit it.....or heat for a few seconds and let off...I know its been said somewhere....laziness....how much of a gap are you supposed...

Hey all just got my Persei and herc...I'm all disassembled and ready to boil, I was curious, when I go to check resistance when I put it back together using my own MM, what other point do I use to measure from? Id rather check with a meter to know its right, instead of just screwing it on the Persei

Thanks for your guys' help....appreciate not being treated like a moron....I think I'm ready to jump in. I see the Persei comes with 2 batteries, 3.7 volt....what do you recommend when using the Herc? Should I buy additional? Thanks in advance!

I watched a video by Gary on the Herc...very nice....so I know its been asked 1000 times already, will it work with anything i throw at it? Wax, flower, etc?

Is the herc a standalone? I still need a Persei to operate right? I thought it was just a cartridge....I guess I need to read some more
