Yep, the M is the only one that uses a SS tip. (ah, I get it now, for some reason I took your original post as build an XLS not buy one outright.) Maybe you already have done so, but if airflow is your main complaint lots of people file down the tip a bit on the edge of the bowl to increase it...

The XLS doesn't really improve airflow (Unless I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain on that) so you'd need either an 18M or a ti tip to increase airflow

You -can- get it fitted loosely enough to remove with a magnet but keep it from moving otherwise. Might take 15 or 20 minutes of fiddling, but my gen 3 and le tip will both allow it after working on the caps a bit

I have an induction heater, but I don't love mine as much as others. It works, although I haven't tried it with this tip, but I still prefer torches. I only really use the IH if it's windy

I'm so conflicted on the subject of my LE tip. It is nice, and it blows my face off, but I still can't seem to get heating down properly. It's much more sensitive to heat than my gen 3 so I'm constantly fighting it trying to keep from overbrowning. I've never actually combusted in it, but I know...

There's one place near where I live in Arkansas that pumps gas, not a law behind it, they've just been running since it was normal to do that. I like to stop there when I get over that way, and they will still check your oil and clean your windows if you ask

I couldn't tell you how but my new LE tip has finally clicked with me and I'm having no trouble browning my herb now. Still doesn't seem necessary to do so effect wise but having it browned does soothe my anxiety over waste
