Seems unnecessary to me, since you can already change how hot the load gets by where and how you heat the cap. I don't have access to a ton of concentrates, but any time I've had them I've had no problem making them work in a standard set up. We really just need a standardized concentrate insert...

All my caps are snug enough they can't fall off but loose enough to take off with a magnet. Best of both worlds, just takes some fiddling.

Seriously. Every one of my caps has an oval shape. People are making something of nothing, and that's what really bothers me about this situation. There are actual QC issues going on. Caps needing to be squeezed into a slightly different shape isn't one.

Yeah, my LE tip had the loosest fit of any I've tried. On the cap end and on the stem end. It will not fit into my older stem tightly, it just falls right out

how out of spec would you say your cap was? Was the gap between your cap and tip big enough to fit a toothpick in? 2? I can just barely slide a round toothpick under my cap if I reset it to it's loosest and this is after it has been well used. Even if I could fit 2 or 3 toothpicks into the gap...

You should play with it some more, unless your magnets are defective it should be totally possible to find a fit that will stay snug yet still come off with the magnet. I have even my LE tip which as someone said earlier is an even looser fit than a normal tip set to where it can be suspended...

That's odd...I can't say that I'm 100 percent in love with my LE tip but it definitely doesn't have any dings or sharp spots. You should definitely reach out about it
