What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

One thing i am looking to avoid is using a butane light to heat stuff up. I just want to grab a unit, stick some bud in, and within 20 seconds take a toke them put it down, then maybe pick it up again and take a toke ( on demand so it doesn't burn away ) I want to avoid unregulated too and...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

While this is touted as full convection, the more i look at it the more i think its conduction. To be conduction, herb is meant to be touching the element which heats it. To be true convection it shouldn't. Like a pig on a rack, the heat is rising up to it but its not a grill. In this case, our...

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

Is the splinter on-demand vape? Sounds exactly like me. I should have mentioned in my initial thread, I'm going for an on-demand vape. I like to pack it, have, toke, then put it aside without it continuing to burn my herb. I'm starting to think that leaves me with a very limited amount of...

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

Ah yes, i saw your post. Thanks. Good advice. Yeah i was wondering if the FF was slightly conductive. I know its touted as convection but the herb sits on a metal plate, and that plate appears to be against the ceramic which gets heated, so in once sense, maybe it is conductive but just...

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

yep wasn't aware that there were ones that were regulated and ones that weren't. Im trying to stick to ones that are regulated to avoid issues. Im down to FF2+ and possibly the Fury Edge ( though if what im reading is correct, the fury edge is not true convection and is more hybrid)

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

Looking into the ghost but saw not so great reviews on places i was going to purchase it from in regards to how fiddly it was and things stopping working and overheating. then others had no issues. Weird. Ah but did the FF2+ taste good?

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

Only downside to those two are they are crudely made and not much thought appears to have gone into health with the coils being used. Im a little hesitant to consider those.

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

I am considering both as I believe those were convection. Would be nice to see inside the heating element and how it operates to How do you think they compare to the Firewood 5 or 6? I did see the Milaana has unregulated heat like the magic fly box

    O ring fumes

I dont see many folks mention the O rings fumes Nearly all vaporizers ( dry herb ) have rubber o rings They are usually close to the heating element or chamber and certainly encounter heat. Who's to say you aren't breathing those fumes in? I recently saw a guy with a device on reddit showing...

How healthy is dry herb vaping?

You raise some good points. I think what gets overlooked is that your not just heating up herb. The heat passes over. Rubber seals Metal ( that overtime breaks down ) Sometime manufactuers dont even say what the heating element is or what the metal is that your herb sits on. I think this is a...

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

That's not convection that is conduction and you are having to light the end. I'm avoiding conduction

What do you recommend for a FULL Convection Vape?

Hi, I'm a day away from buying the Firefly2 + due to it being full convection. I don't want conduction or hybrid I also don't want a lot of smell I want ease of use. As simple as possible. So far that brings me to the FF2+ The only 2 things I don't like about the FF2+ are ( the plastic...

Doesn't this go against the whole idea of combustion being a no no? I thought the forum was for products that were convection based not conduction.

    Arizer Solo II

C'mon. There is a large difference between putting your mouth over an exhaust pipe on a car and sucking deeply into your lungs fumes vs walking around the streets of a city with vehicles buzzing around you. Yes you will be exposed to fumes in the air, that's a guarantee but nowhere close to...

    Arizer Solo II

I think it's common sense. We don't usually put our mouths up to our computers, or TVs and breathe deeply into our lungs like we do with a vaporizer. Directly and indirectly. That's the big difference. And yes I have heard documented health concerns from heating up material (plastics, metals...
