I can say after I clean mine it tastes similar to new or very similar to a clean solo. Can't say my experience aligns with yours.....

Thats not true on my unit. I can plug mine into a 2.1a charger and use it when its virtually dead. Sorry to hear your early unit died like mine did. I certainly hope the final units get the bugs out.

I made this misktake. The knob is now glued on but should not need to be removed to get at the battery. There is a seam above the knob that slides off. I've had mine apart and there is nothing you can easily fix in there to change the behavior of the knob. I really wouldn't recommend taking...
