Did you find that the air leak affected the vape's performance at all? Mine seems to be working fine, producing big clouds and all, but I haven't tried using a CU that doesn't leak, so I can't compare.

I got them from puffitup. So it could be the o-ring? This new one seems kind of "loose" - the two main plastic components of the CU are able to be pulled apart very easily, which is nice, but it's also letting air through.

I had a Pax 2 with a faulty power button last year (right after launch), and Ploom sent me a new Pax 2.

I also have a Mighty and Pax 2 combo. They complement each other nicely, one for home and one for going out. I also started with a Crafty and switched to Mighty. Good choice. :) No firmware, but check the serial number. Then people here will know exactly how new it is, lol.

Have you tried the New Vape screen? It's designed to fit "loose" in the oven so it falls right out. However, in doing so it also lets herb slip through, apparently. What about the vented lid? Can anyone confirm that it rattles inside the oven? I'll try using the pusher with stock parts and see...

I ordered a pusher, vented lid, and "3D screen" from New Vape, but I don't know if I'm using them correctly. In order to attach the pusher to the vented lid, I had to remove a little cap from the screw attached to the vented lid. But the pusher still moves around as it hangs there on the screw...

Keep us updated. I'd like to know what happens with yours, because mine sometimes produces a faint high-pitched whistle, but it doesn't seem to be affecting performance. It was never loud like your first video, but I also never tried sucking through it cold and dry when it was new, so...lol.

Both my Crafty and Mighty make a soft whistling sound when drawn from with force, but not nearly as loud as yours. (It's probably a higher-frequency pitch, so less audible to the human ear.) My CUs are airtight too.

What happens to warranty when you independently sell something? Does it transfer to the buyer, or do they have to use the seller's name if they need repair service?
