Oh, my bad. I forgot they changed names. It used to be Pax by Ploom. So just replace "Ploom" with "Pax Labs (formerly Ploom)" in my last post, and it will be correct.

If your power button is failing, Ploom will send you a new unit no questions asked. My launch unit had that problem, and the replacement unit they sent has never malfunctioned.

It's not loud enough to blow your cover. It's only audible in a silent room, and only for the person using it (or if you're standing right next to the person using it). Mine is a 30xxx. I also used a friend's Mighty that had a louder whistle, which made me think it's probably somewhat common to...

Yep, I went through 3 CUs until I got one that is perfectly airtight. The internal whistle can be attenuated by covering the power plug hole. It's been reported by a few users here, but doesn't seem to affect the vape's performance at all.

I don't really put much weight in the stealth category, tbh. Vape quality is most important. To be fair, I have not tried the GH, but I don't imagine it matching up with the FF2, the successor to the best-tasting vape of all time, very well.

FF2 is gonna win that matchup, tbh... $330 vape vs. $200 vape...

Thanks for the info. That's damn amazing that you got 30 hits with .12 g! Regarding the vapor coolness - I never tried the FF1, but the Pax (1 and 2) always gave me a sore throat with its hotter vapor. The Crafty/Mighty is much better for me in that regard. Is the FF2 cooler than Pax?

Same here, got mine in late January, and I've used it twice a day basically every day since then. I use it dry with no attachments (I feel it doesn't need them, as it already produces cool vapor), temp range 180-200°C (~360-390°F). My previous vape was a Pax, which always makes my throat sore...

I'll just wait for the gold ones to ship. Not switching. I have a Mighty to keep me properly medicated until then.

They should announce a release date, though.

It's hyperbole, I know. But it's a little disappointing. If it's waiting for me when I get home, that'll make the disappointment go away :)

I know this is an old-ass post, but I just experienced the same problem with the S&B grinder turning white after an iso bath. Did you ever find a way to get rid of that?

Damn, didn't know that. My cats like to hang out near me when I vape, and they seem to "chill out" more when they do. The second-hand vapor isn't harmful to them, is it?
