To be fair, there is also a third option: convection/conduction hybrids like the Crafty/Mighty and Arizer Solo/Air. Those give you the best of both worlds.

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

"Switch" isn't the right word, as the Mighty will remain my primary vape. The FF2 is only better if I need to take breaks in between draws (such as when gaming). However, I end up spending half the time fiddling with the device as I stir the bowl every few draws, and I need to vape multiple...

There are some certified retailers, like Puff It Up, that guarantee their products are authentic.

I'm finding it works better with a finer grind. Not a powder like the Pax, but finer than what I put in the Mighty.

Get a Mighty!!! It's better for solo and groups IMO...the FF2 is pretty awful for sessions because you have to remove the lid, stir, repack, and retamp constantly...so annoying. With the Mighty, you just turn it on and pass it around for 10 minutes of perfect draws.

Haha thanks, but I won't be there. I feel like I've tried everyone's suggestions but still get inconsistent results. I'm assuming it's my fault for bad technique, but I'll see what Firefly thinks. Do we have any FF reps on the forum?

Mine makes a whistling sound even when I draw very slowly. When the bowl is empty I can get a silent draw, but with herb inside it always whistles.

Yeah, I'm connected to the app on High heat. I noticed that my bowl is only getting vaped in the center, but the edges of the bowl are always green. So I'm left with a brown center surrounded by green.

Did you mean to re-vape the FF-vaped material in the Mighty? I kind of did that, but I just took the green bits from the FF and threw them in my Mighty filling tool. If you just mean vaping both with different material (but same strain), I have done that. The Mighty makes big clouds and makes...

It's not when I activate heat, it's when I touch the plastic on both sides to pick it up. It feels a little cheaper than the FF1 looks. The FF1 looks badass with that metallic finish and the curved shell. I'm also struggling to fully brown my herbs. Even after 10 long draws on medium high to...

For those who used an FF1 - do the techniques that worked for the FF1, such as temp surfing, carry over well to the FF2? I assume they are fundamentally similar devices, but never tried the OG.

Yeah man, the Mighty has really spoiled me with its convenience and consistency. With the filling aid, you never have to worry about "packing it right" <glares at FF2>. You get perfect bowls every time. Also I love having the orange pick tool attached to the vape itself. You never have to say...

The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

It was a game changer when it came out, and it's still arguably the best portable all around. The Mighty has underrated stealth, tbh. It doesn't even look like a vape. It looks like you're sipping on a small water bottle or canteen. It's only a little bigger than a Crafty. I prefer session...

After trying the FF2...there is no doubt that the Mighty is still king. Very different devices, I know...all I'm saying is, my Mighty will get used a lot more than my other vapes :)

People were saying to stir by tapping the bowl without opening, but that would seem to require a very loose pack with little material. I have to open it to stir every 2-3 hits. The stuff on top never gets vaped. That sound right?

Thanks for the tips. I'll try packing denser. To be fair, I have seen some conflicting information. Some people have said to pack it loose. I'm super gentle with it, but the plastic makes a little "click" when grabbed in the center, just below the heat buttons. I must have activated the 30...

Is there a time limit for the heat buttons to be activated? Several times, I've been holding them down for over 10 seconds taking a long draw, and the green light turns off in mid-draw. The plastic walls on the side are kind of creaky. Every time I pick up the device from its sides, it makes a...

    Discontinued Pax 2

Um, the OG Pax had the same issue. I always had to flip the loaf for session 2. What they should do is include a pusher in the package, knowing that not everyone likes to use .5 g in a single load. That's the one thing I find ridiculous about the Pax now that I've tried other vapes. Who the...

I'm a little surprised that people are modding their FF2s already. Really? You can't give it a week before you decide that the engineers at Firefly, who spent years developing this vape, need to be corrected? Lol...
