Does pressing on the lid near the bowl affect airflow or vapor production on yours?

Maybe my lid has a weak magnet. Either way, the FF team shouldn't just blow it off.

Just the fact that we have to pinch the vape to make it work right is a problem. That should be obvious. Mine is 100% seated properly. It's not a matter of seating it properly.

:( I got this response: The rubber gasket is firmly pressed against the metal on the mouthpiece end, but there is a 1-2 mm gap on the bowl end. I don't care about that in itself, but the vape performs better when I apply pressure to the lid, as others have reported.

Notice how the bowl end is different from the mouthpiece end.

Damn, my gasket isn't flush with the lid on the bowl end. Maybe that explains my inconsistent results. Thanks for posting that, I never would have thought of it. Update: Just tested it. Sure enough, applying gentle pressure to the lid changes the airflow, makes it tighter, and gives much better...

Aaah, that makes sense...I usually let it sit partially charged. I thought it was best to keep batteries 40-80% charged (from the Mighty thread).

So yeah, I just needed to charge it. My battery indicator doesn't work at all, apparently. It always shows the battery as full or mostly full on the app, and the blue light always blinks 3 or 4 times when I check it, until it dies. And the red light isn't coming on when it dies sometimes. Are...

The newer ones shut off after 2 minutes now.

I'm having a first-time issue right now - when I press the heat buttons, I get a solid green light, no orange light, no heat and no vapor. It is connected to the app (high heat) but hasn't been used since yesterday. It says the battery is full, but we all know you can't trust the battery...

Well, that's what happens when a vape gets marketed as the "bestest vape evar!!11" People were probably led to believe that it was going to be great for any type of usage. They should have done better research, though.

To be fair, some of us don't have access to concentrates. It'll illegal where I live, and I don't know anyone who sells it. You're right, though - it sounds like the FF2 actually excels more at liquids than herbs. I will have to try it at some point.

Do you really need the magazine, or can you just use the filling aid for that?

Yes. 352 is on the low side. If you want to get the most out of your herbs, try bumping it to 372, which is my favorite temp to use on the Crafty/Mighty. With the Mighty, you can boost every time and still get 5 bowls before needing to recharge.

My FF2 seems to be getting better over time. Getting better draws. Even the loose plastic mysteriously settled into place (doesn't make a clicking sound when I touch it anymore). Weird, but I'll take it! Maybe I needed to "break it in" a little, lol. I really wish they had included a little...

I think that's fine to press power between draws. I don't think it drains battery any more than you already are. Sometimes I like to sip it slowly, and that tends to not reset the shutoff timer.
