AYFKM?????? Had to drop my wife off at the BART. 8-10 mins roundtrip (did it in 7 today). But sure enough there was that little slip stuck to the door...attempted delivery, etc. I know he wasn't waiting around the corner for me to leave, but it sure feels that way. I can go pick it up...

As I recall the he said they'd be in our hands before Christmas. The campaign ends in less than a week I believe so I'd guess he'll be sending them out not too long after that. ~

Well, I thought they were there to keep you from burning yourself on the hot end. So I just cut them off. But perhaps they are supposed to help steady the stem? Doesn't seem to be a problem so far and looks better too. ~

FYI (and not trying to start up a love/hate Apple fight) there is a period of anywhere from 1 week to 1 month where the pre-updated IOS is still available on the Apple site if you wanted to change back. But there is no set period of time they keep it posted so you have to act relatively quickly...

Isn't there a $69 level on the Indiegogo campaign? Seems like for $11 more you get the newer model, locking stems (no additional kit needed),free shipping, warranty, and supposedly guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Seems like it would be worth the couple weeks wait....:2c: ~
