Hey, no problemo! The stem guard also fits pretty snug over the mouth end of the dry stem so that also would work to use the nano through water. I always had the GonGs though, so I never really did this. Also, if any of you have a nonavong .. The silicone stem guard from the nano fits over...

I just noticed in a pinch the silicone stem-guard will plug a 18/19mm female water piece :O Maybe this has been known.
