Totally awesome, and totally weird. I wonder how hard it is to clean that thing? I want one!!!

I measured the DIME BAGS I had - and it registered 6.5" across by 3.5" high. The Solo barely fit in it by itself. You might be able to squeeze in a glass stem, but high chance that stem will break. I think it needs at least the 8" one, but they have different shapes and sizes and inside...

Solo? Doesn't have to be plugged in either...it's basically a log. And it has glass-on-glass stems :rockon: It's what I use now, prior to that I was a MFLB head also :tup:

I think the 8inch will fit the Solo, 1 stem, but not much else. They are SUPER padded. That is good because they keep stuff safe, but not so great because the padding thakes up so much room. I will give the 8inch a try tonight when I get home. I was hoping the 10in one was a lot bigger, that...

I can possibly score you one at a head shop (authorized retailer). They had one left about 2 months ago, not sure if it's still there.

Rattles a tiny bit, but still pretty snug (at least the one from TV). I am sure you can pad it with a tiny bit of tissue paper or something. As-is - I don't think it's loose enough to break if you dropped it from a few feet up, but I haven't tested that :) And I am totally on the same page as...

Yeah it is a little frustrating. Sometimes it seems a thread will just disappear from the Alerts, for no reason. Just happened with the Solo for me, even though I posted a dozen things, in that thread, alone, today. Will pray the mods can turn this off somehow :bowdown:

I would pay $20 extra, and was seriously considering it, although realistically I would refrain from buying it (financial reasons). $20 or even $100 doesn't seem like too much of a mark up. It's super hard to find the piece. If someone REALLY wants it - they can pay extra right? If no one is...

I remember your method, and when you first mentioned it. I don't know why, but having plastic on the cart freaks me out, especially since it is constantly being heated, and sometimes heated A LOT, especially towards the top. I tried tape on the silicon mouthpiece, but that turned out messy...

I bought a scribe ($5 on ebay) to etch the number of the original weight on the carts. That, and maybe some initials for the strain/type. I was going to get a cheapo $10 engraver but drilling into the carts didn't seem like a good idea... Sharpie doesn't work so when I scratched one cart...
