Ran a number of bowls and have the bad boy dialed in now. You can get really big hits if you want to test your limit. Using a glass stem can give you some good feedback on how hot the cap is. You can adjust your inhale speed or even stop inhaling altogether if you feel like you're close to...

I ordered just the cap and chamber as I wasn't too fond of the stock stem. Did a thorough cleaning and paired it with a glass 3D dimpled stem for the vapcap. Be sure to clean the cap, as mine had a lot of machining dust. I actually wonder if there's dust that can't be cleaned between the plates...

Use a 3/8 SS mesh screen instead of the CCD. It friction fits perfectly and doesn’t clog as easily

I find it odd as well. Likely a defect with the cap. My fusion is worlds better than the v3
