Eh, I don’t think the copper patina looks that great after multiple heat ups. I’d just go for whichever is available. I still don’t understand what the duracore is meant for since copper is still exposed. Not a big deal in my books

Is it bad that the coils glow? I guess I’ve havent seen the actual heating element in devices like the Milaana, v3pro, etc and just assumed they all glowed to produce the needed heat

How do you adjust yours? I rotate the oven so that the vertical slots are centered in the oval window. But whether these slots are centered or hidden, the airflow seems to be the same

This looks like metal discoloration from the heat. Looks pretty clean and doesn’t seem to need cleaning. Just means you’re putting it good use!

It depends on how I heat, and I think that’s the beauty of the convector. When using with the revolve I go super aggressive to clear in 1-2 heats. I use a triple flame to that spreads across most of the cap so that I get both convection and conduction heating

I’ve been testing out the revolve 2 with the convector and holy crap does the titanium sleeve get HOT. You can’t comfortably touch it after a bowl. It goes to show how great it is at cooling but loses its practicality without some sort of heat shield. The wood and glass sleeves are the way to go.

i think it’s worth at least crediting the inspiration so you’re not immediately having to defend yourself, which it seems like you’re already doing

Braved heating the chamber area in addition to the tip of the cap for conduction support and after a few combustions, I was able to nail down the timing for lung busting rips. Less flavorful and much more roasty than heating just the tip but man can you get huge hits in under a 10 second heat up

I always taste butane with all my direct inhale vapes, even using Colibri. It’s faint, but enough for me to not want to use my direct inhales as a daily

The smell is likely from the viton o ring that’s in the bowl. This is my least favorite thing about the angus because it does impart some flavor
