Like I said before man, most of what you said is very true and I would be a fool to argue that the Hopper is not a problematic pain in the ass most of the time. Even my newest dark grey model needs a new back end already. It works but not on all of the temp settings.

You obviously have no comprehension of what a li ion battery does when it vents inside a tube like the Hopper. I am not saying the Hopper has never gotten so hot it has melted the battery cover, it has. That is still not the fault of the battery itself.

That doesn’t back up you saying multiple reports of batteries burning and melting inside the vape. If that was a battery malfunction it would have been way worse than that. You can obviously see that was due to a faulty back end. Not the battery.

I have gone through every post in the Grasshopper sub on Reddit and you are completely full of shit.

I can agree with a lot of this but there have been zero cases of the GHB batteries actually exploding while in the vape. I have heard of one person saying they had them “vent” in a dresser drawer after charging on a charger that may not be right for these cells. Honestly, in that case, who knows...

@Hopper Labs will the new Hopper be all black like the image? A “Stealth model” Hopper really makes me tempted to go for it........

I say the newest version of the Hopper gets the credit. I only have old batteries and I get much longer life out of them with my dark grey Hopper than I did with any of my previous models.

@Hopper Labs for those of us that lost a Hopper in the fire can we get a credit toward one of these new Hoppers?

It is good to hear you mention the efest as “top tier”. I have been using mine for years. So, what makes the efest better?

I use an efest luc v4 for all of my LI ion cells. I have always left the batteries in it until I remember to take them out with no problems. According to the specs it stops at 4.2v and restarts again if they drop below 4.1v. Seems to do the job quite well.

Are you saying the charger does not shut off when the battery is full? Sure sounds like that is your point.......

Try blowing very hard back through the bowl a few times and see if that helps.

Always make sure your Hopper is warm before unscrewing the mouthpiece and you will likely never have a problem with the screen getting loose.
