and this is why i avoid wood stems. ty @Xclerk edit: granted it's not much but i have PTSD from not being able to clean out the MFLB which is also wood

mine always have reclaim residue inside the stem... very little but it's still there. could be from removing the condenser as it's tip uh ... penetrates the bore of the uh tip which obviously has lots of reclaim in it.

i'd make sure connections are properly plugged in. but if the PA's led is always on and it loses power when you move it, i assume the thinner wire segment between the PA and the IH is the problem, might be the power jack in the IH as well.

sounds like a faulty wire. i'd keep a close eye on it maybe a loose connection?

i completely understand those feelings and generally share them. ideally it would be all glass airpath. the device seems interesting ... looks like intake is on the tip? that window is just the "ready" indicator? hopefully the "real carbon" they are using is safe

CF doesn't seem to be in the airpath tho. and i assume they would have noticed any degradation is testing.

i noticed mine arrived with the edges slightly curved because of the cutting action presumably, which made them appear smaller. press them between flat surfaces and they should be the correct diameter.

the heater is a coil made from foil. and i think the controversy here stems from the title of his stream specifically the "vs" part. maybe "and" would have been more suited. also we are hungry for reviews of the TM and passionate about the subject because it seems like the best on-demand battery...

i get what you are saying ... and clearly he has a personal preference for glass. again ... not fair to compare those two ... i'd say the TM is more like the lil'bud/timber or even the nomad. IMHO a bit of conduction is not a bad thing for a session vape (which IMHO the glass heaters are better...

    TinyMight / TM 2

he's not talking shit IMO. the glass adds mass, inertia and better heatsoaking to the system. the difference should be is noticeable, for taste as well. that being said the coil TM has looks great, with faster heating and large surface area so past a certain point of performance the difference...

    TinyMight / TM 2

glass needs to be touching the heating element for it to hold heat. if you have glass in the airpath past the heating element it will only "steal" heat.

i find the adjustable feature moot because just loading less the results seem better with the air gap in the oven before the material rather than behind it. i imagine because more convection effect and better correlation between material inside and cap heating spot ... IMO IH coil should be...

it's all just feedback really with some personal attacks and general confusion sprinkled on for good measure ... IIRC George addressed our demands for bigger versions saying something along the lines of "it's possible to make but it's not really our target" way i understood it was they are into...

i did say that in my original post. i'm sure you understand the difference between polished and unpolished glass beyond my personal feelings, from a technical standpoint. it's why polished is generally prefered in almost all applications ... and why it would also be better here ... which is what...

link pls ... because dynavap sells them for 1$ each ... regardless ... my point about ground vs polished glass stands ... the polished looks/feels better and is easier to clean but i already have that stuff ... kinda wanted some silver shit too ... guess i'll have to make my own because...

not being polished on the inside potentially means more wear on o-rings and a porous surface is not as easy to clean ... glass should be polished imho .. it just looks and feels cleaner, which is what ppl usually look for in glass ... but i assume there were technical difficulties here because...

i think it "melts" away when the surface layer turns into oxide from heating with the torch ... over time it adds up i guess i use DDave's SS screens in all my vapcaps now. much prefer them in all aspects compared to official CCD's ... maybe not as durable but i clean mine with a torch and...
