I've found that cooling/freezing doesn't always work and the oil remains too liquid to collect. To avoid this with a little more consistency I've found minimizing temperature and reducing pressing time to be better solutions.

@fft I don't think you're getting much decarbing at that temp range. FWIW, I include a 20-30 min decarb step at 240F for just the ABV before I do anything else with it. If the above chart and data are to be believed, that is. The multi-hour duration may be sufficient but I'd play it more...
