Pulled out my volcano after a couple of years, bags would try and irritate my throat too much...changed the bag and started a thine layer of Jupiter Kush, pow, I'm off to Jupiter myself! Hooo baby I'm still tingling, love this powerhouse!
I dunno, I've given up on my quartz banger and nail in favor of a pen. I feel like a broken record or a blind fanboy but I get equivalent flavor and clouds (should I desire it, I usually don't) from the Yocan Evolve + at a far lower price point and with greater convenience than my torch and...
Weird, my donut tastes way better than the QDC, although it generates less visible vapor.
Why does glowing red hot matter? In my experience that is way too hot, the donut element does not need to be visibly glowing for it to be effective. After using this for so long it's abundantly clear...
Huh, interesting @Eatrocks, I've tried the coils on an istick 30w and found no preference, the stock battery will give me a nice hit each time, and if I don't pulse the power I easily burn the shatter.
I would love to do a meet n greet with you guys, to try out your go-tos and see what I might be missing. I'm genuinely curious, hopefully with the passing of Question 4 (fingers crossed) in MA there will be more proliferation and more opportunities to do so locally.
After getting the Yocan...
Be sure to save your stems too! I've been dry before with nothing but stems, packing them in a volcano chamber actually worked really well, all things considered. May be very strain dependent, too
Over 5 months of using my evolve plus as my daily or adjunct driver, so damn good. Battery life is top (wish it had an indicator though!) and the wax stash still makes this the best wax pen out there. I'm surprised there haven't been any copy cats....or have there? I'm about to make another post...
My liege, thine servant hath appeared.
I am quite late to this conversation so I don't know how useful this will be but here goes...
I started out messing with CO2 oils in Kanger tanks and such, diluting it down 1:3 or 1:5 since I wanted a more casual, continual experience without getting too...
FWIW, I have been using the dual quartz and ceramic coil, switching between the two every week or so, as my Y+ has been my nightly driver for the past month and half. While I use one coil the other is soaking in ISO and cleaned before use. So far I haven't noticed any need to replace either, and...
Dammit, I ordered 5 ceramic coils for the evolve, not the evolve plus. They aren't compatible :(
Regarding the light coming on again after a hit, I use that as a visual indicator and keep pulling until it lights up. No real reason except that I have a tendency to stop inhaling too soon, this...
The case I posted is 2.75x4.75, .25 wider but 1.75 shorter. Seems like the vape case would be more bulky on the go. I'd love to hear of your expetience once you get it!
Unless I am misunderstanding you, I don't think that is quite correct, otherwise we'd have a lot of trouble holding our breath for longer than 5 seconds!
O2 and CO2, in particular, travel across a concentration (or pressure) gradient to get from lungs to blood and vice versa, respextively. You...
oh, I don't disagree about the potential benefit of rebreathing, I've read anecdotes and studies on deep sea divers and their abilities to hold their breath. I do imagine the turbulence from rebreathing can help distribution of the vapor particles too. Fascinating stuff!
I just want to avoid misinformation where possible, one of the reasons I loathe other forums based on cannabis and vaporization is because people there spout off opinions as fact or get things mixed up, which does no service for those asking the questions. FC has reliably had critical thinkers...
Sorry, I misinterpreted your tone!
But I wasn't talking about whether you get higher by holding the hit in or not, rather that holding your breath will impede gas exchange, and that isn't true.
The studies he cites are also dealing with smoke vs vapor, which I think is a significant difference...
No need to be curt, I have a Masters in both biology and neruoscience. As I learned in school, what I wrote before is true and having just googled it to confirm, stand by what I learned. Here, for examplehttps://www2.estrellamountain.edu/faculty/farabee/biobk/BioBookRESPSYS.html#The Alveoli and...
