    The Nomad From Morwood

Are you guys using the fine bottom screens or the coarse top screens from the crafty/mighty? The fine bottom screens are super flimsy but I've been using the coarse top screen in my nomad for a while now without any issue. It's very rigid.

Great stuff Dan! Can't wait for my care package. Just wanted to ask this real quick, if we wanted to put some lubricant on their in the interim before we receive the package would Vaseline still be an acceptable substitute or should we avoid using it? I remember you said you wanted to test it a...

    MiniVAP Vaporizer

I feel I have to back up @stickstones assertion here. Minus my herbalizer maybe the minivap with teflon core provides the absolute best flavor out of all the vapes in my collection, very few can come even close.

    Herb Grinders

Decided to take my GR8TR out for a cleaning today with some PBW. Well stupid ol' me forgot to not put the black top part in the PBW and man did that paint strip right off! I figure it should still be alright to use since the top plate's isolated from the herb I wont have to worry about...

I've found what everyones been saying about the low heat module to be true, that it's all about draw speed. Even if I do as much as a light inhale I'll still get wispy vapor with the low heat, but if you adjust your draw and basically put your mouth on the thing while barely inhaling you can get...

@RelaxedNow no water, just a good 20 second draw with basically no draw speed can get quite hot. I've only done it that one time with the low-med core though. With the higher heat core it can be very easy to accidentally combust if you don't take care.

I accidentally achieved combustion yesterday even using the low-medium heater core. You really have to push it hard to get it to combust but it's definitely possible

Would it even be possible to add conduction to the vape in that manner? Any which way you make the heater it would still be located under the stem making conduction hard. It might be more feasible to make something like a stainless steel lining for the stem to increase the heat retention of the...

If I'm putting my mouth on something and sucking on it all day long it sure as hell better not be a he.

I had a set of spare Mighty screens that seem to be the perfect size to drop down into the air path right above the heater. It just kind of dropped and fell in and has been staying in there pretty good for me so far. As of now with that screen in there I'm using it just like I would use my...

Yeah I'm just chalking it up to the battery wrap maybe being slightly thicker than the others. No worries as I have a bunch of 18650's lying around that do fit so I'm all good! Can't fire this thing up for another hour or so but man am I pumped to try it out!

Nomad #006 has been unboxed! Can't quite use it until later tonight but I was playing around with it a bit. The one weird thing I did notice is that some of my 18650's(samsung 30q) are too tight for this vape and won't fit through the battery opening. My other batteries such as the sony...

    MiniVAP Vaporizer

I was just taking a look over at the Minivap site and I noticed something a little different. It looks like they're now offering a "peek" core. I wonder what changes that will make to how it performs.

    $90 for a used FireFly v1...worth?

I might be in the small majority here who absolutely love the FF1 to death. I own both the one and two and the two is technically better in every way shape and form performance wise, but man the FF1 just has a sort of unique beauty to it that I can't get over. It's kind of like driving a classic...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

I've been able to circumvent the 10 second cutoffs on my mods pretty easily by just pulsing the button for a split second in the middle of my draw. The quick release and push back of the button is enough to reset the timer and finish off a good draw. If I really want to I can adjust the cutoff...

    MVT 2

Thanks for the response @mistvaporizer much appreciated. Since the addition of the button also means the removal of the circuit board would it be safe to say that we can consider the MVT2 to be a full mechanical unit now? This sounds like great news if so because the removal of a circuit board...
