So I find that I've been switching from my solo and imag every day. One day with the solo. The next day with the imag. REALLY like alternating between them. I'm not sure how much more improved this new batch will be but it HAS to be better right?

Only beta test units have ceramic as the oven along with ceramic filter for mouthpiece. If you purchased your imag+ then your oven will be steel. Your mouthpiece will also be slightly different. You will enjoy your imag+ regardless. I see the only real difference is the mp. Performance...

My original imag+ had the "concentrate" cart in the package. It just looks like it was missing from the test units. Edit.... @Kaptan is quick

I did the exact same thing with my previous imag+. A Solo screen fits perfectly btw. Just place it on top of the oven and the mp sandwiches it so it works great. I think that you could take out one of the screens in the new mp to help increase airflow and not allow herb to get sucked up...

I find that with my old imag+ that a medium grind works fine. (Doesn't have to be mflb fine) Kinda like the Solo grind. Pack it down with the "tamper" tool. But not using any force. I just kinda drop it onto the herb and let the impact pack it down. (If that makes any sense).

The Doc is en route! My firstpen for concentrates. I'm pretty excited. All the reviews and insight help me choose the Doc over other pre-built pens. It was between this and the OPHOS. I'm sure I can get the hang of it first.... Then maybe get a kiss cart later. For now. . I can't wait...

For $82, that's a great deal! The current imag+ is awesome for that price! Only issue really is the mp. You can always get a replacement for $11 too (like I did). I think you'll enjoy it like most of us have!
