@gunky, that is interesting, i didn't know that. when on, i mostly leave it running for 24-72 hours and then give it a rest for about 8 hours to a day. i have had mine for almost a year now. i appreciate your help. thank you! :)

i think there has to be some charring going on inside my unit. nothing feels loose inside, but now, even when completely cool and unplugged, i can smell charring inside the unit if i gently blow air into it. i have a rockzap, so i am not quite sure how this could happen. has anyone else had this...
