Its a full kit from d-nail. Everything you need to build your own D-nail 1.2 for way less. Took under an hour while watching TV and dabbing lol. It was good fun and now I have a d-nail 1.2 for the price of the other guys cheaper units. Win win, unless you really don't want to assemble it...
IMO consider returning it and getting the DIY D-nail. You want to build your own, this is half way there. More of a plug and play kit, no soldering etc. Then you end up with the highest end components, and have some fun doing it! I forget the price but I got mine without a coil since I...
Approximately 397% better :)
The 710 whip is okay but I'm sure yours is pure black all the time? The flavor is simply unbeatable with the sic surface. MAYBE sapphire, but I have only tried the halo. The sic is also self cleaning for real, not like ceramic claims to be. Turn this bad boy up...
Woot I can finally post. Otherwise it would be just an anticipation post which is useless and stressful for all. The design is DONE DONE? Now its just make a shitload and get those puppies out? I've given up on convection for now using a conduction convection hybrid, and that with the cold...
Thanks. I've thought about the slim and 45 degree but 1) money and stuff 2) It tipped even with a 710 whip on it :/ The current dropdown actually does let it stand safely on its own like a tripod even though I'm stabilizing it for the picture.
I will end up getting the slim series more than...
Thanks. I was devastated to not get it working with the e-nail. Ironically the fix was add another chunk of glass. Boom tri-pod. Might switch to something bigger when I move again soon, but I don't really have any $ and I like the spine, so it'd have to be something cheap.
My tippy as shit but otherwise perfect Jack Steele spine rig with the sic and sapphire. Has the diy D-Nail powering it. See what I mean by too small? Haha.
The bigger Jack Steele spines were some serious $$$ and I have servere chronic back pain. Without the drop down I can't even use the...
Part of the appeal to d-nail is actually the fact that everyone else uses it lol. Just makes it nice for comparing temps etc. My rig is REALLY small, and the drop down is needed to make it like a tripod and not tip over from even the d-nail + sic ... haha.
If I was brand new I'd probably...
Quite simply the liger is too big and heavy for my rig. I'd also need a new coil etc. Seems like switching just to switch, but if I had a huge rig I'd have considered it if I was just getting started.
Yeah the quality is the one thing keeping us using D-Nail. Everyone else already has the same products for half price. If the quality isn't better then what is the point? The D-Nail stuff I have now is super high quality. If that changed why would anyone continue to go there?
Probably killed by rosin lol. I wanted to order this, but that is EXACTLY why I stopped doing alcohol extractions. Rosin is easier, cheaper, and IMO tastes better. Still would be nice to have the option though :/
I'm still not sure if its a good idea or not to iso wash the nut to go on top of my sic dish. The nut could use it if it is okay with titanium. Wish they had a sic nut lol
If there is residue just crank it up to 900-1000 and no torch needed. Seems to come out super clean. I might get a new tianium nut that goes on top of the sic. I don't like that mine has been hit with a torch.
Unless someone knows a pretty sure fire way to get that nut clean and safe. It...
@tylerj55 even at 710 with the sapphire insert on the sic, I get SO MANY vapor trails after the hit. It tastes good at 690 but even after 3 hits its still leaving vapor trails and stinking up the room/house pretty bad.
