PID SSR Work box (the xlr and power inlet holes need to be filed out a bit if using the same connectors that I did) Coil toggle switch (doesn't fit round hole on rear of work box perfectly so I needed to use a couple beads of super glue to keep it snug) XLR connector Power inlet Power cable...

Tired of the D-Nail auto tune messing with the pid settings on the control unit when switching between flat and 20mm coils so I threw together a $60 diy nail specifically tuned for 20mm coils Super easy ... literally took 2 hours start to finish including filing out 2 of the 4 mounting holes.

I believe the d-nail 2.0 was discontinued unless they're bringing it back. You can still see one of the 2.0 pids in the Hickory collab in d nail's custom shop. Not sure why they discontinued them but they were like $800 and the pid they were using costs about $150.

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

Nylon wouldn't be the material to use if you're trying to clean the screens with alcohol but I believe the seamless design is better than folding a piece of ss into a packet as there would be more nooks and crannies in the ss packet for resin to hide in. A seamless ss bag seems like it would be...

When they say temp fluctuations of 700 degrees they mean instantly ... like if it were dropped in water from 1000 degrees it would break. Torching is totally fine. I love taking a SiC dish out on the go with a little torch. Try turning your temps up to 630 - 655. I find dabs to taste a bit...

Torch the fuck out of it to clean it and using the q-tip tech between hits keeps the flavor on point.

They do rest in the lip on top of the Liger 20mm pretty well but not much heat is transferred up there so you'd have to crank the heat way up.

Was working on a project earlier and had the dremel out so I figured it was about time to fix the CCA SC dabber tip Dabs drip right off now :)

It seals great. The BMS carb cap has a faceted bottom so it's perfectly flat with a small slit in one side for air flow. The CCA SC doesn't seal quite as well but works good. Edit: As for the Errlectric ... the one that I've used was nice but it took forever to heat up and the temp...

For D-Nail halo owners ... using an HE quartz dish retaining nut opens up the ability to use flat faced carb caps like the flat side of the CCA Storm Cell or flat glass carb caps. :peace:

I'm sorry but that's not excessive manufacturing oil. Manufacturing oil can be removed with iso in seconds. Torching the Ti would also work to remove excessive manufacturing oil but it wouldn't take 3 excessively long sessions of torching. Sorry if it seems like I doubt you ... it's just...

There are no new techniques or equipment being used on the Ti so that doesn't apply here. I guess it's just that statement from the D-Nail info page that got me. I haven't had issues with burnt rubber smell (just the typical hot Ti taste from new Ti) but I'm still curious as the Slim Series...

Why would they not want to name the manufacturer of their Ti? There would be no reason not to unless they had something to hide. Transparency's the name of the game here. It should be a badge of honor ... not something to hide. I know you're a big fan of the d nail quartz because it's...

Bummer and those coils fit the d nail base? I don't have a single flat coil that doesn't work with the domeless.com nail and I've got 4 different brands (including high5) but all mine only have 2.5 wraps (except the hyman coil which has 3) ... it looks like yours are wrapped 3 wide which is...

You can hold the torch in just one spot with no issues but then you'll have a hotter side of the dish and a cooler side of the dish. I crank the nut down when using SiC ... no issues. Learn to use a sensitive part of your body as a thermometer to gauge when to dab. I use my face to gauge the...
