You are physically heating the outside of the the bowl with a torch.. the bud is inside the bowl.. the bowl is cookin the herbs. There is some convection. But try holding the cap in tweezers and heating until it clicks, and then put it on a loaded tip and inhale. Nowhere near the same.

M is stainless steel tip, cap, stem and condenser. XL Omni is Ti tip, Stem, mp/condenser and the cap is stainless steel. Only major differences are the Omni condenser and the different tips.

On the subject of bloopers. I put an uncapped tip into a IH. Oops. compressed air came in handy.

@natural farmer it is actually not metric size at all. It’s a standard. I can confirm size for you once this household isn’t so crabby. Everyone is sick and cabin fever from it being so cold. Maybe I can find some of the screws today when I pick up some supplies, if I do I’ll pick some up for ya.

It just depends on the style of vvps. Some go down to zero. You shouldn’t have to go below 9.3 in normal usage anyways.. I’ve left mine on 12volts forever.
