I was feeling crafty and whipped up this pid control box using a few parts I purchased on ebay and an old router enclosure. Since I have several of both xlr and aviation style coils I wanted a box that could control either. It cannot control both at once. Perfect for my newvape gear. :)

I press pounds of herb. I never use a filter bag. My rosin comes out as clean as any other I see. Filter bags are a luxury but not essential and could be considered wasteful. I get higher yields bagless.

A cover would be bad if left on for extended periods while the unit is hot. Thus no cover.

Have you ever bought a brand new car and had a major recall? It sucks but you don’t get a new car. They fix it. The assembly line is updated. Life goes on. But it does suck. :(

Looks like it will lose some of its conductive power with the ss bowl. But that’s the trade off.

It's all original. The temperature was dropping because the battery was dead. I had not charged it at this point. Not the best way to showcase it in the review but I was very excited to do it and couldn't wait. :D

The orange part on the plenty bowl has never been peek as far as I know. It looks to be the same stuff on the hybrid. It just gets hotter.

I think it is more brittle.

Newvape sells the aviation plug coils much cheaper then the xlr. For that reason I prefer them. :D
