    Desired Outcomes

You make some interesting points but the thread where you originally posted this is for the RBT wooden mouthpiece, so I moved it to this more suitable thread.

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

Oops. It's early and I haven't had my coffee. I think I just merged a post by @Summer with a post by @cybrguy but I'm not sure. If so, apologies to both of you. I think this is how it should be: Edit: Corrected the attributions...

They do not. What resistance have you set? This sounds to me like it's too low.

    RBT Wooden Mouthpieces

Sorry for the delay. As requested, here are the concept drawings: My concern about wood as a mouthpiece material is cleaning. Even with a path as wide open as this, you'll get that sticky honey build-up fairly quickly.

    Pregnant vaping?

This kind of sarcasm is uncalled for. Please keep it to yourself. The following comments apply to everyone, not just @Ramahs. I won't go back and select examples, but there are several posts here that are borderline like this one. If you can't control your emotions and need to resort to sarcasm...

The State Of Vaping - A True Vape Critic Question

[Emphasis added] I like the way you toss around terminology, young Dickie!

The State Of Vaping - A True Vape Critic Question

My point is that you are striving for a precision that is not needed. Other variables that you can't control make every experience different. One more time: you just have to be in the ballpark.

The State Of Vaping - A True Vape Critic Question

Sure, but the ballpark is a lot bigger than 1°F—a lot bigger. Your last sentence completely undermines everything else you said, but it also goes directly to the point that I made. The condition of your material is one of those variables that is really difficult to keep constant yet it can...

The State Of Vaping - A True Vape Critic Question

Incorrect. There are unregulated devices out there that can do this. You can preheat certain devices to the point where the load will combust as soon as you pull. I don't quite agree. I wrote a post that discusses the variables involved in the How often do you grind? thread. There's a lot more...

The State Of Vaping - A True Vape Critic Question

I just edited @P.A.M.'s opening post and deleted two comments that are not appropriate. It is fair to discuss @VCBud's opinions but not Bud himself. Stick to the state of vaping, please. Thanks for your cooperation.

    RBT SEED

I'm not sure why I've been chosen for this honour but I'll take it. I assume this is because you previewed this with me on Skype. So here are RBT's concept drawings for the SEED: In our discussion, I think the only point I made was that the mouthpiece had to be adaptable, so that...

    Odin 2 by Topbond

There is a short thread about this device here: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/weecke-fenix-svaty.24375/. It looks to me like one of Weecke's many multi-brand vapes. I haven't tried it myself. I have used this Fenix and it is a really nice unit for the price. Weecke makes several different...

    Odin 2 by Topbond

Yes, you can recharge it with a power bank. I didn't test to determine the battery life and I don't have it any more, sorry. The new owner is quite happy with it, by the way.

    Odin 2 by Topbond

Don't worry about asking too many questions. There's no specific way to do it. You'll end up developing your own preference, but you've described the way I'd use it: start at the lowest temperature, then step up when vapour production falls off. This gives the best flavour, but the lightest...

I've never seen much less used the Xmax Fog. If you don't mind the sensitive touch screen, the Odin 2 is a great little device.

    How often do you grind?

I'm not sure how I wound up in this thread, but I just read it because this is a topic that is a friendly point of contention with a friend of mine. For context, he is a fierce advocate of never grinding at all and using careful storage, while I've committed every sin known to stoners concerning...

This is off-topic for this thread. If you want to discuss this further, please open another one. PS: Troy a rookie?:rofl:

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

The rimmed screens are finer, which should even out the airflow better. They also change the airflow pattern and the load gets more heat from the sides. Overall—and this has been my experience—the rimmed screens should reduce hot spots and result in more evenly roasted ABV.

    RBT SEED

Yes I saw that. I meant before and after, and compared to the alpha. Cold, because as we know it changes as it heats up.

Are you keeping track of the resistance? Most mod boxes can't handle under .1 Ω and the Splinter heater is pretty close to that limit.
