The 7.4 Hercules(oil AND herb) is only for the Persei, You need 7.4 volts to run it. It will not work with the HVD kit at 7.4v either. Hopefully they will be on the site soon, but I believe it's still in testing.

You should not expect to Vape the entire load without stirring, it only vaporizes the material touching the rod. Vitolo has a great video up on youtube of the 3.7v Herc in use. Your unit is not faulty or defective, it's a vaporizer. I'm not sure what you expected but the 3.7v Herc won't perform...

The 7.4 takes about 10 seconds to produce vapor. The 3.7 takes me a good 60sec count to get vapor. Remember, you must get the unit up to temp, let that heat transfer to the other parts of the Herc, then Vape the load. The 3.7 is not powerful enough to give a bong sized hit in a few seconds...

Without the Hammer Top you will need to keep the button depressed manually, the Hammer Top is a "one press and on" type switch. I use the stock too or Iris and both momentary and have no problems, you should be fine without a Hammer Top.
