Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

@Joel W. I think you cant put a sr71 rod in the spring loaded post because the sr71 rod doesnt have the "gold" plated part under the rod, just around the rod. The sr74 rod is "gold" plated under and around the rod. I think the gold plated part is where the connection is made. Im sure @SamuraiSam...

No, but you can put an sr74(x) in the sr71. You need a vw/vv option to run the sr71 nicely. Sometimes the post comes up when you open the bottom chamber, making it less user friendly to scrape the bottom chamber. Untill you dial down your herc, it be bothersome. I havent experiment with 2...

    Atomizers

The hercules is a step ahead. His manufacturer is active in the persei tread and keeps saying heating coils are the tech of the past.

@BradEllis I had to unscrew a tiny bit the bottom teflon adaptor outside screw after servicing it once for my hercules to fire. Or maybe its the bottom chamber outside screw as well.

Im more on the side of bigger loads, probably why I see a difference between near full and near empty. I dont weigh my stuff; I would love to. But most of what I produce is runny and sticky :(

@mixchu69 I still consider myself learning to use the herc. I need to refill my herc when the gurgling sound lowers and I get a bigger than expected cloud (I get a thick cloud from low batteries). I usually see the coil completely when I open my upper chamber. There is the taste getting "badder"...

No, I dont use the screen. I read it clogs quickly. The concept im experimenting is pushing the limits of big clouds with long button presses without filling the reclaim chamber. Im experimenting strong cool down hits and so far I think it makes a difference with softer concentrates. Need more...

Hey guys, I thought about a little piece of parchment paper to put sticky parts when servicing my hercules. And I tried using flash vape glass straw with an omicron silicone mouthpiece with success for a few days. I can still pump oil in my mouth , but it cools the vapor a bit and I would...

    7.4v and up mods

I have been thinking about the dna40 vapor flask v3 with temp control. It has a new temp control chip for vaping ejuice, but I read comments about setting it to kanthal or other type of heating wires. I dont know how this could translate into temp control using the hercules though and it doesnt...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Im still a newb, but I think overpurging is when I use heat to purge and it decarbs the concentrate. Decarbed concentrates are less tasty and have an oily consistency. Theoretically as potent. It is not a big issue. But I think we can purge the alcohol perfectly and not decarb better with a...

@BradEllis I think if you open a ticket here http://www.w9tech.com/vaporizer-contact-us/ they can accomodate you. The part is not listed to buy separately, but I would ask them nicely and see what happens :)

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

The times I came up with shatter or close to texture, the fold and peel with the ptfe sheet was marvelous. Over and under purged qwet (my regular outcome :() are a patience game of freezing the sheet to get a little fold and peel action, put in the freezer, wait, fold and peel a bit, refreeze...

So, I have serviced my hercules recently. 1st, thanks to @Vape Dr. , or the person saying you can unscrew the bottom screw on the teflon adaptor to make a connection with my persei top. I would get a read on the ohm meter, but not the top. Knowing this made the difference between feeling...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Tx @mvapes for sharing your experience. I value myself as a good sidekick, follower, perfecting an existing thing. But im not a good pionneer. I would have loved to have a veteran fcer showing me the way; telling me whats normal, watch this step particularily, if im on track or way off etc. But...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Nice stuff @negan ! One thing im not sure I understood correctly; are you getting shatter at room temp? I just did a few runs got my most oily results.. Maybe it was my starting materials, my final purge or something else. But I did approximately the same purge tech that gave me a close to...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Thanks a lot @Bouldorado, now the vac process seems less alien. Another big question is to use or not the thermos tech. I see less probable problems with the thermos tek. But I remember @farscaper prefering by far blasting. As of today, wich way is favored?
