It possible for staff to flake off in the same way that its possible for stuff to flake of any aluminum object. It’s the same kind of aluminum that an unanodized grinder would use. And it’s also the same anodization an anodized grinder would use... It’s just not pretty because air got trapped...

The outside is anodized aluminum. The inside is poorly anodized due to the manufacturing process. Which is no different than a grinder that has not been anodized. Give it a quick clean and you’re good. But no, it doesn’t fit Vongs.

Yeah we could absolutely make a little screw on cap. But we just don’t believe it makes sense to do so unfortunately. However, something to make it hold the XLs has a much higher chance of becoming a reality. But if it does happen, it’s going to be awhile before it does.

It’s not really bad, it’s that theres not a great way for the anodizing process to get a nice complete coat on the inside of the tubes. Basically, they put a bunch of them on a cradle like device, and then Dunk them into different liquid baths really quickly. Because they are long skinny tubes...
