Just filled them up this afternoon. Went fairly smoothly, especially for my 1st time filling them. I used an 18g blunt tip needle, and warmed the syringe with a hair dryer to reduce the viscosity of the oil. Then it was as simple as inserting the needle through the mouthpiece and pushing it...

I find that when really loading it up, start turning the top plate when it's only half pressed in. As you start that first turn, you can then fully seat the top plate into the middle. That initial turn is much easier, and then so is the rest of the resulting grind. Hope that helps some!

Make sure to crack it like an egg. It requires much less force than trying to pull it straight apart. With the right technique you can actually open it with one hand with the egg cracking technique. Hope that helps!
