Yeah, I was wondering if you (or anyone) temp steps on your glass. I tend to just set it to 400 and let it rip, dry or through water. I still temp step on my j hook, though. I want to try starting on low temps and swapping to using it through water. Now that sounds like a good time :lol...

I'm glad to hear there isn't a detectable taste difference. Reading about the stems made me wonder if it would be similar to stainless steel straws which can sometimes give a metallic a taste, but of course it's much more durable than glass. Also love the sidecar idea, it's so nice to watch...

Depends what you mean, I think. My button will kind of rotate if I don't lift my finger completely when I'm done with a press, but it doesn't feel like it would wobble out of place really.

Short stem! The Mi2 is coming with a stem from Ed's TnT, actually. I'm right in thinking this can be used with the 3 as well right? Definitely going to pick up an xl8r but the new toys are likely going to get here before that.

I went on an unintended RBT shopping spree this weekend and am now excitedly waiting to join the party here with a Mi2, 3, and splinter v2. :D How hot do the original stems run? Should I wait until I get some before the maiden voyage?

I put in a pre-order for the 256gb one myself, but am also in Q2. At first I was struggling to justify not just pre-ordering the base model but then I thought about how big my steam library is...it probably makes more sense for me than getting a ps5. Plus being a pc means plenty of emulators...
