I also lightly pack the full. Awesome. I now only use the half bowl for infused creations. I feel that the half runs slightly hotter, and it works great with a pinch of flower that's been used to mop up whatever sauce is left in those little glass containers.

I agree on principle, however I do think there is way more convective heating going on here than in the Vap. Imho the taste is very different. That said, I do want a FMJ to try out. My VonG has gotten very lonely since the Anvil arrived

The one negative I can see with the FMJ is taking a hot cap off is probably going to be a good way to get burned. The Anvil design is better imho. I love how the case magnets work

My recipe for windy conditions: Firefox, medium flame so it doesn't go out. Hot the battery until the copper gets bright, and you'll notice the edges of the bright copper start turning darker red - at this point move the torch to the middle of the oven until it clicks. Works for me

Anybody here prefer the Founders to the Users? I only go thru water, and I'm sorta preferring the Founders for some reason

True story My fave right now is an ol Sneaky Pete Premium Frost Bottom, but needs a long nose cap. Seems easy to manage temps

I dont see what the big deal about centered magnets is? Don't put the bowl on tight, and the "uncentered" backside of the cap grabs the bowl and can unscrew it to dump? Putting it into the shrouded cap doesn't make sense to me at all

Do you think its overkill? Because it takes me 3 long draws to get a full bowl down. Im not sure I'm ready for a double load!

I didnt love dry herbs until I got a Runt. The Dyna, Mighty, Fierce all made me cough. Anvil wins the reach test anymore. The other herb devices are now 2nd string. Its just so repeatable and yum yum.

I hadn't hit the VonG since the Anvil arrived. Today I dusted it off and gave it the ol single flame. It does the job, but it made me cough quite a bit. I feel that the Anvil is much smoother
