I have a couple friends that bring joints around and they honestly kind of taste like a cigarette now. I'm not a whiner, and will still indulge, but I haven't deliberately smoked on my own even once since I got my SSV back in January.

Has anyone used the LSV with a hydrotube like the Swaggers, etc?

I use the flat Arizer screen that comes with the EQ Basket screens, dome it with my thumb into a gentle curve, and place it dome side up on the FF. I think this reduces the flavor and draw speed, but I also like how clean it keeps it, and makes it idiot proof for new users.

So which would be the appropriate screen for using an LSV with a male/male adapter and water tool? Also, I tried using my custom Ground Glass SSV wand to use a whip with the LSV, and it didn't work very well at all. Anyone know why not?

That's not normal to be on max and be wispy. Try pulling up the heating element a little bit?

Did you let the unit run for a while on max before using? That is one possible source of the taste. The tubing shouldn't leave much of a taste. I would say barely noticeable, if any, especially if using 7th Floor's tubes (the only ones I have experienced)
