@dzoinp sells Ti TM stems here which I can personally vouch for. @Vapsss also sells them. At any rate, if you smell scam, maybe go with one of the other options?

Actually looking at mine now, you may have to disassemble partly to get at that screen and ring. . . be careful of the glass tube and the oring atop it when you take it apart.

Yes- one of the screen should be seated inside of that 'ring-frame', you may be able to fit it back in

Maybe I am misunderstanding - are you saying that your glass stem was still in your TM when you pushed from the other end on the cooling unit with a pencil eraser? I would never try to adjust or push on anything when the stem is inserted, so if that is what happened, I'd say there is your first...

I may be wrong, but that is for the bottom one I believe. The cooling unit screw size (and bottom of board) is much smaller

I can tell when it is time to clean the threads when it stops tightening easily.

I've been using my two TMs for 19 and 14 months, respectively. I've cleaned the contacts a couple times on one and once on the other, less for need than curiosity. I clean the battery lid and threads regularly. I haven't experienced any power loss. My 2nd TM also runs about 2 full steps hotter...

I had the same response when I emailed, odd. Luckily, I was able to switch to another combo they had in stock. So I was able to mostly get what I wanted, once I switch my bottoms.

Well shit, This helped me to finally make a couple of quick decisions - Now instead of one BCG I bought two factory seconds: A hematite/onyx/hematite with a course plate and an amethyst/gold/amethyst with a medium plate! I didn't think I'd start this week 67% of the way to the 3-Grinder club...
