Can you use an old fashioned manual crank coffee grinder? I'm still recovering from a broken wrist plus arthritis and normal hand grinders are still a strain to use. It seems the small herb grinders with cranks are not reliable but maybe the OG coffee grinder would be more durable...anyone here...

Well, I received my 420 sale Alternate yesterday, and surprisingly, this seems to be one of the "good" ones. I had returned my first one to PIU and wasn't intending to repurchase until the top cap issue was resolved, and I am a loyal PIU customer. But Vivant's 420 sale was too good to pass up...

@dtaxx, this looks entirely do-able. I think Ima try this! But what about that air gap between the Crafty CU and the Alternate body? Is that how it is fully assembled? I thought a top part would have to fit flush in order to work right.
