Isn’t the back-end threading made out of copper on both io versions? So there should only be a difference to the threadings of the front end I guess?

You shouldn't be concerned, Delrin or POM is absolutely alcohol proof. Even an extended soak doesn't harm the material at all. Heat is more of a concern for POM, but iirc there is a SS inlay in the adapter anyways which should guarantee a safe air path.

The Flowermate Hybrid X can be used with a hercules sr-7X or any other atomizer with a 510 threading and has a conductive herb chamber which would surely vape traditional hash or pressed kief. I don't own a flowermate so I can't give you further information but perhaps it's worth a look...

Imo both boundless vapes are conduction units. Doesn't make them bad but it should be mentioned.

This scenario is what I'm referring to. Mostly a battery fails while being charged, but imagine it would vent while being discharged... I would definitely prefer not to draw at the same time, exploding or not... My plain Ti has never had a warm or even hot back-end, it stays always on room...

I sold my volcano after purchasing a mighty. Extraction isn't better on one or the other, although I could get one more whispy cloud from the volcano AVB when putting it in the mighty. Taste is not as "clear" with the mighty when comparing to a new volcano bag. But tastes of the last sessions...

The back-end is providing an (nearly) airtight seal on the battery opening I would guess. If you screw it on there isn't any air leaking through the body (I hope). Anyway, this wouldn't protect anybody from inhaling gases from a venting battery... Edit: I might try to seal the air intake holes...
