I mostly charge my batteries externally after 2 vibrations and they read ~3,7 volts on a Nitecore. The first 2 vibrations (green, blue) have much more battery power than the last 2 (purple, red). This is valid for a lot of devices with rudimentary battery management.

You are totally right! But I use it only outdoors since it gets quite hot on the throat. There is only place for half a CU. The TM works quite well with the TM2 knurled battery door, but the contact areas have different geometries. I would avoid over tightening since it could be to much...
