PBW is basically just the phosphate-free (non-caustic) version of TSP mixed with an oxidizer like oxyclean. The commercial product adds some surfactants, which facilitate thorough rinsing. But when I built a good rinsing rig based on what @t-dub showed in the above thread, I mixed up my own...

Vaping intimacy and body high question

Absolutely. But just one last thought fwiw . . . vaping, not to speak of vaping with the EVO in particular, is opening up a different experience for you. While it's great to get a head start with advance learning and prep, it's also important to be patient because there is no way you can get...

Welcome to the EVO thread. :) I use 90%+ ISO to clean my tubes, plugging both ends with a cork. Some folks use PBW, which provides intense cleaning. One of the oldsters here put together a sink cleaning rig that blows through the tube - I used that for quite a while but got lazy and went...

Vaping intimacy and body high question

A long-standing suggestion on FC with the EVO (and the Cloud before it) has been to read through the forum thread. All your questions and a lot more are covered, actually probably in the first quarter or so of the thread. That's less than 200 pages; not a short read, most work through it like...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Yes, this works. IIRC Stu, didn't we talk about that mod back on the Cloud thread some years ago? (Or am I confusing that with the similar Q mod?) Anyway @Rigman41, just fwiw there was a scientific rationale behind the configuration and screen material used for the ELB's. The intent is to...

Vaping intimacy and body high question

Of course the strain and quality of your material will have the most significant effect. That said, the vape - and your technique - can make a real positive difference in the experience too. I've used the EVO and its predecessor the Cloud, both since beta. The EVO is a top-of-the-line vape...

The bamboo is held in place by friction. Twisting it can not only loosen the bamboo, that can also easily break it. If you get a substantial increase in heat while at the same setting, there is a good chance the bamboo cracked; the resulting additional air intake can be the reason for the...

Thanks! I should have thought of that. I'll give it a try. :myday::peace:

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Hey comrades just checking in to share/ask, been a couple months . . . I have EVO #22, regularly used since pre-release. Had its guts updated after a year, other than that, performance has been flawless. Then about a month ago, for the very first time, I experienced combustion. (Btw, before...

One factor is the flow-through. The can fills at a greater speed than your intake, consequently more vapor fills the can and is retained making it more dense. The size of the can is a related consideration. It's only logical that thick vapor coming from the vape will more easily fill a...

Here are pics of my Mobius Matrix and Mobius Reti bubblers milked. These cans are pretty large; with my old lungs so I don't get as much density as you would. But that is still pretty dense vapor. I get even more density with my Mobius Ion (the mouthpiece is not as large so there is less...

If I were to run my EVO around the clock, I would be sure that the temp setting was not high. It is sustained very high heat that can stress the unit; excessive heat is the enemy of all electronic devices. So also be sure the unit is in a location where ambient heat will not build up around...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Ever since I got my EVO (first production run) I have used the "stickstones" method described by @t-dub a page or two back. Getting a good heat soak on the body makes a big difference, hence starting the unit at max and then when green dialing back to your desired vape setting, hitting when...

Here is a pic posted a couple weeks ago which shows an EVO taken apart, the heater is the coiled metal which wraps around the bamboo. Keep in mind that the air flow/vapor never comes into contact with the heater, the path is all glass which is inert. http://imgur.com/a/IDW3v :myday::peace:

VXL offered this piece again for a short time Sept last year, and I jumped on the chance. IIRC it was remaining stock from earlier, not a newly produced batch. That said, I'm not sure because wasn't the joint with the overflow slit introduced later? But definitely an Evolver though; the logo...

VXL did think of this earlier. Here's a pic of my daily driver. The base piece was called the Hydrafoot 2.0 (made by Swagger), which frankly didn't make much sense since the "hydrafoot" is simply a glass stand. "Hydrabase" is more appropo, yet VXL is still calling the new pieces "a second...

If I understand you correctly, you are implying that using "just enough herb to cover the bottom" of the ELB, then either "loosely packed" or "tamped down", will yield better results. Using a small load may indeed be a contributor, but not by in particular the packing or tamping down at bottom...
