I don't know what meshes were tested. My comment is taken from conversations I had with Seibo about the Cloud's physics, during its beta phase (my background is in electronics product development & manufacturing). Turbulence in the basket was a design objective to facilitate even exposure of...

Seibo has been talking about a portable for about a couple years now. The questions in the survey cited above are usually those asked early in the development process, when features are being decided upon and prioritized. Like so many very small companies which are typically hand-to-mouth...

Open a ticket at the VXL support web page. I wouldn't worry, but you need an answer. :myday::peace:

You ask for an expert's response. Can't help there, I'm no physicist by any stretch of the imagination. That said ... It's not clear what you mean by "electrical radiation" - that could conceivably refer to different things. Since the reference point is "300W" it appears it's thermal...

Yea, it's a fine line (no pun intended). Note though that I wrote "some"; not most. More of my abv is actually very small particles (I should have made that more clear; my bad). Truth be told, I have no idea exactly why my ELB's are easier to clean now compared to previous techniques; it's...

Yea, I forgot about that: The heavier load and/or packing can cause the ELB to clog faster. IME the grind is an important factor here, too. My Santa Cruz shredder creates small airy tufts; my Space Case doesn't create the same fullness but its smaller nuggets are still quite light. At 1...

The reason a half-fill not packed is recommended, is because that way there will be turbulence in the ELB resulting in the best extraction efficiency. A larger and/or tamped load can produce the same result, it just may require an extra stir or two. And, the half-fill is more likely to provide...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

This seems to be something that happens every once in a blue moon to many, if not most, of us. I suspect that the unit just needs to reset itself, analogous to how a phone or PC sometimes needs a reboot. I wouldn't give it a second thought unless it starts doing this repeatedly, in which case...

So you are going to have 18 ELB's in your rotation?! That many should last you just about . . . forever. :myday::D

I really don't know, but I doubt it. In the first place, AFAIK the ELB joint has always been referred to as having a spot weld. I can't remember a question about using solder having ever come up before. I'm still using ELB's that I got with the original Cloud and I've only had one come apart...

Not a stupid question, not at all. Intuitively it would seem safe. After all, the fragments would have to migrate out of the ELB and through the HT. That said, I've seen shattered glass with shards so fine they can be difficult to even see. For myself, I would not take the chance. :myday::2c:

I guess I've been asleep at the switch: How long ago did vapexhale change its logo/avatar/website to use "xhl" replacing the original "vxl"??? IMHO the XHL seems weird. :myday::hmm:

@Baron23 is right. In my post suggesting your unit may run hotter, I got that backwards (duh!). If you need to turn the dial way up, that indicates the unit running cooler (duh again). As well as using the same setting as @Baron23, I also get about the same number of hits. Definitely not...

It sounds like your unit may run somewhat cooler than some others, requiring a higher setting on the dial. But that's not unusual. Many report that they hit at 11 or 12, and even Seibo in one of his vid's uses the 12 setting. But others prefer it higher. You may be able to hit it faster...

The advice from @Justpassedu is on point. The vulnerabilities in the EVO are primarily in the glass bamboo and secondarily in the heater. The only other electronics to speak of are for the power. The casing is virtually impregnable. So since you can see the unit in person, I would also check...

Yes, but you typically wouldn't see a crack down in the the glass air shaft (aka the "bamboo). Check that the bamboo is OK by tightly capping the bottom intake with your finger and then trying to draw from the joint (this may be easier to do using an attached glass piece, as long as you can be...

Rest easy, you're on the right track and doing well. Hell, you've already discovered that with vaping, less is more; that's a good thing for mind, body, and wallet. My son was visiting over the holiday and he tried my BubbaJ + kief mix, on the EVO. He was amazed at how much more smooth and...

What is it about the experience that makes you feel like you are doing something wrong? Sounds to me like you are off to a good start. While you may feel the herb effects are similar or even the same, you are certainly not ingesting all of what you were with combustion, and with quality...
