    Arizer Solo II

Fer sure, yet we pinched their language? Funny spellings, irregular verbs and all. How smart does that make us? Did you know we came very close to adopting German instead? Folks wanted a clean split with the mother country I'm told. Think of how that might have worked out.....street names...

Is an 'isolated air path' really important?

No, I'm totally serious. There is no "all glass air path" I know of, do you? Metals, wiring, even the Lead in solders have never been shown to be a health issue at the temperatures the electronics run at (that I know of), or certainly the guys who work 40 hours a week in 'server farms' where...

Thanks very much! Same to you and your's. We live in exciting times for sure. Sorry about the local weed situation, you'd think a country enlightened enough to put their capitol on Latitude Zero would have that covered better? Look what big deal the Brits make of 'the Prime Meridian' in...

Is an 'isolated air path' really important?

The topic of the (known?) advantage of an 'isolated vapor path', or even better an 'isolated air path' being an important feature comes up from time to time. Currently WRT Solo II. In the past I've questioned this on various vape threads from time to time when it was a popular topic, asking...

    Arizer Solo II

I'm not 100% convinced it's unwarranted, but strongly suspect so. Which is why I asked if anyone had any specific evidence here. Arizer seems to have taken this concern to heart, perhaps only because 'the market is demanding it'? After all they 'caved' to demand with 'use while charging'...

    Discontinued Elevape SV

Never had too, both my units still work fine AFAIK. I've taken them apart and poked around some as is my nature. Guilty on the nerd part. OF

    Discontinued Elevape SV

IIRC all six are in parallel. There's only one charge circuit. They basically crammed as much total battery in the available space. I exchanged some messages with the 'maker' in the day (this product was a small part of his activities, he was big into metal finishes as I recall) and chided...

    Arizer Solo II

There's a lot of interesting 'isolated air path' discussion going on. While I understand this is very important to some, and there's no doubt a sales advantage to claiming it as a feature, I was wondering if anyone can give me a reason why it should be a concern? What, specifically, is the...

    Arizer ArGo

I agree. IMO (and apparently yours?) ArGo is a much more successful smaller version of Solo than Air is. Personal call, of course, but ArGo fits in the pocket (and my 'needs') better. Not sure what you mean by 'baskets'. The screens for Solo fit OK but you have to play with them some to get...

    Arizer Air II

Then by all means that's what you should use and enjoy.....after all that's why you bought it right? Other people's opinions are simply other people's opinions, it's your call. Regards to all. OF

    VaporGenie

A simple, reliable and proven technique for sure. But not all that easy to pull off, human nature being what it is....... A bit like opening a nice single malt and tasting 'just a dram'? OF

    The Arizer Air

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/arizer-air-ii.25187/ It's slipped to page 2.....things can happen fast around here. Hey, at least you tried 'Search', something very few do? Easier to 'just ask on the web' and let someone else do it....... Best wishes with your new Air II, you're sure to...

Lots of us. The details of improvements (shape, longer run time, digital display, etc) are best found at the start of the Solo II thread. OF

    Arizer Solo

Understood. When the time comes to try, the two common screw ups are not using the correct size screwdriver (and stripping the screw heads) and over tightening them (cracking the plastic base). Breaking the odd tap in the battery cover inside is not a problem, it'll work fine without it. BTW...

    Arizer Solo

You might try swapping the batteries to confirm it's a battery issue, which is what it sounds like from here. What you have is probably a short lived solution. If it's old enough to be an OG version, it should not 'run while charging' (that takes 8 Volts, not 12). If you can use it as you...

    Divine Tribe atty's

Not sure I understand (nothing new there.....), there are lots of neat models out, but my favorite is probably the V2.5 (or 2.7, same thing with a different MP). Best to visit Matt's site to see what he has to offer. IMO 2.5 is plenty cheap, performs well, and is a good place to start with...

    Fenix Pro

Or for the Zen version, "Is the Fenix Pro an EU version of Edge?"? Last night I dreamed I was a butterfly, but in reality am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man? The short answer seems to be no. While they are similar, the shapes are different. Edge doesn't have the flat parts around the...

    Arizer Solo

Beats me, sorry. I'm definitely no authority on what's normal......ask anyone. Faced with what you see I'd continue to try to charge, for up to say a whole day, with a few unplug then plug it in again cycles to see if it wants to start flashing the numbered lights. I have a bit of a 'leg up'...

    Arizer Air II

A good question for pondering late at night. The battery is not a factor, Solo simply drives their two cells half as hard, same power. The ovens are similar, but not identical. Ironically some prefer Solo to Air (me included). Great to have choices in the market, isn't it? OF
