Okay so I'm expecting mine tomorrow. Can anyone that has received theirs today chime in on the Silicone debate?

I've posted a couple of pics a few pages back using a Firewood 3 mouthpiece to make a secure connection to the Grasshopper. If you do not have a FW 3, you may be able to replicate it with a piece of silicone and a screen.

If you are in Canada, I highly recommend an Arizer Air or the Solo as they are a Canadian based company with many happy customers.

The way I have the two connected, there is a Firewood 3 mouthpiece serving as the "adapter", which has a fine stainless steel screen, that sits flush to the the GH when pushed into the Firewood mouthpiece silicone. Only honey goodness showing inside the CU after a few sessions.

Building upon the Crafty CU hack, I have found that using a Firewood 3.0 mouthpiece will connect firmly into the CU sans screen, then the Grasshopper has a more airtight seal and denser clouds.

Another Crafty cooling unit hack....cools just as well as a water piece. :science: It easily attaches to the mouthpiece by push fit with the silicone about a mm above the glass.

This was my plan as well, but torch lighters are banned from checked and carry on luggage. Traditional lighters do not work as well with the VC.

Skip the Pax 2. It does not compare, IMO. If you can wait till late March, early April as that is when it will most likely ship, then stay on course, but definitely get some other vape to tide you over. Maybe consider something inexpensive and easy to use, like the VapCap. :2c:
