I feel it is by quite a bit I also think it is better at dabbing as well. I have found I can get pretty even browning using the vrod with a little lower temps and some breath control. The carb cap helps as well. I find the faster my draw is the more uneven the roast is.

That oring thing is mica and acts as a thermal barrier between the post and the post stand. You may end up with some scorched wood if you don’t use it.

No all my hydratubes get water in the base. IMO the perc either needs to lower in the can or the can needs to be taller. The hydratube from them is awesome but the base with circle perc sucks. I may try the tree perc from sunshinestore or one of the bases from Stevenlmz as they look taller.

Last year I got the sunshinestore hydrabase with circle perc and the chandelier hydratube. I find the base is basically unusable with water. It gets water into the bottom of the hydratube. Anyone have any luck finding a hydrabase that you can put water in and it won’t splash into the tube?

I haven’t found any negatives using a glass bowl. I think the one that is not vaping good probably isn’t sealing good and has an air leak. I have the divine tribe 14mm glass adapter and I have to push the head down to get a good seal with it.

Nice to see so many glass bowl options coming out. IMO NewVape dropped the ball on this, they should of offered a glass bowl option long ago.

It worked well actually but there is no way to know any sort of temp unless you use an ir gun or better yet a k type thermocouple. The hottest the 710whip could get to was around 750 so I would usually go about 3/4 of the way on the dial. I agree a real flat coil is needed to compare though.
