I notice bongs with more diffusion require a lower temp but it sounds like you may have less diffusion now.

Glad to see you’re enjoying the vrod. I love it. It absolutely rocks for both flower and wax. The metal taste that comes from dabbing of ti really dilutes the flavor of dabs imo. It is something that once you realize you are tasting it you will always taste it from now on.

Kinda it happens less but can still happen especially with temps above 630. The best solution I have found is to use a carb cap or a glass bowl from Stevenlmz.

I’d say go with the vrod with SiC dish.

@newvape918 I wonder if this was done with the vrods out in the wild? Could this be the reason the edges brown more than the center and it seems to get stuck on the post more?

Using a carb cap I have been as low as 480 and still getting good vapor with flower. I get an even browning with a carb cap.

For flower only yes it is!! The Vrod kicks ass as well and blows most other vapes out of the water. I agree too. The vrod is king dual use vape. Yes it is!! It is awesome for trates and twaxing!

I find if I can wait until evening that is the a good enough t break for me especially if I do it for week or more. I also enjoy the high more of I wait until later in the day to vape but it really depends on my pain level on when I start to vape. Hope you are growing your own and buying that...

Looks awesome. I wonder if leaving a post or cone in the middle spot would help break up the airflow and evenly distribute it better. My vrod sticks mainly on heat up and sometimes afterwards to the post but never gets stuck to the bowl.

I have read enough of this thread and reports from @stickstones before it was even released that I wouldn’t bother trying the flower mode if I were to get this. I see this as a portable dab rig and an electric bong. Kinda like a megatoke in bong form.

I notice the first hit isn’t quite as big and more like an EVO first hit/primer hit. After that it billows clouds. I am not a good one to judge harshness/smoothness of vapor but I would say yes it is smoother. I agree with @biohacker 50-75 degree dish temp difference is probably right.
