    what press for £500

Do you mean what yields I get when pressing? That heavily depends on what you put in. The best I've seen so far is 28%, but you should expect 15 to 20% which is where most of it ends up, I like to think anything more is a lovely bonus! I usually press 10g a time, bottle Tek. The plates are big...

    what press for £500

The first thing I would do is ask dabpress of they have opened their EU warehouse again yet... I don't believe they have but I hope I'm wrong. Otherwise I use a 7 ton graspresso machine which I quite like. Long term review thread on this site...

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

Thanks @dtrdrk yeah, good point with the washers, I'll look for some if those, I think I've got some somewhere. I did test the screw heads on every panel for continuity and it was fully grounded thankfully. The screws go into a one piece body with panels on each end. As for where the connection...

    TinyMight / TM 2

I don't think you need a screwdriver @sanchezman 😁😁 Just unscrew the stem ring, remove the sleeve and you should be able to get the screen and it's retaining ring out. Reseat the screen and, if you haven't caused any damage, you're good to go!

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I dunno what size I'd prefer tbh. 16 may make more sense for a hybrid possibly having a more even temp across the entire load, unless you intend to lean on the possible flavour benefits of convection, in which case the larger could be desirable? I dunno, what are you trying to achieve with...

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

Class 2 device are usually small, they often could be used in less than ideal environments, like the garden. Your electric mower, power drill, that kind of stuff is where it's usually used.

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

Yeah, the circuit was grounded correctly, but the casing wasn't. The connector on the right is the back of the kettle type socket. If either the live or neutral somehow became in contact with the casing (spilled drink, loose connection, something else) you could get a nasty sock as your body...

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

Re PID safety; I have always been troubled by the use of XLR connectors too, but I had always thought my auber was correctly grounded. I'm sure I had read before buying it that that's was the case, and I just trusted it. Reading this great thread today made me open up the auber to confirm...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I put the XL away for a few days and went back to the z8. It was good to have the small efficient chamber back in rotation. I did find that I was missing the XL experience a little though. So I'm now using the half bowl setup. The reduction in distance to the screen makes quite a difference to...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Yeah, in fact, as taught to me by this forum, it's the main indicator I use to decide to stop decarbing rosin when the bubbles slow down.

    The Toad from Morwood

Have a look at wheezy jack pods. They are a combustion system but they are around 12.5mm I think I saw 12.3 as a detail once. They were used on the original TM sometimes because the original has a mesh screen that the S&B caps used to push through to the heater and cause a device failure and a...

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

It matters when comparing all the new versions though I agree, I also would have thought the tempest would not need deep cleaning of the head but look how messy people are making thier balls there! Also, I like a pristine vape, so whilst it might not be necessary, I might still like to clean it.

The other difference could be the bottom of the chamber that stops the balls from falling out. If it's a mesh screen, there could be a bigger lip to help prevent it falling out after a drop. This could effect the evenness of the extraction though. If it's a perforated screen, that could also...
