I love the black iolite! Can you order the stickers to replace yourself???

My unit was acting funky earlier today, but it seems it was just overfilled. If your unit is giving you a problem, maybe try emptying the tank completely, then just partially filling it (2-3 seconds). Good find on the piezo/altitude thing though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piezo_ignition

High times doesn't have a lot of 'new' information, but you can learn a thing or two and of course, look at some lovely nuglies. I've never subscribed but I sometimes pick one up when I'm flying. Airports usually carry them. :lol:

I went to the bars last night with my cousin and his room mates. Two (gorgeous) ladies I was with asked me if I had any bud, so we went to their car and I vaped a few bowls with them out of the Iolite. Neither of them smoke more than once or twice a month, so they obviously got really stoned...

DAMN sm55, that stuff looks amazing. Not sure on the best strain I've vaped ; but what I got at the moment is really good, it's some 'Urkel'. Really dense, fruity nugs.

Forgive me for not citing my source; but in Jamaica they did a study on mothers who habitually smoked marijuana before/during/after while breastfeeding/pregnant and found no negative effects if I recall. :2c:

You could always hire umpa lumpas to load your stems. That's what I do.

Single click ignition past two times, each time I started the thing up inside where it's cool and air conditioned. I think it's also a matter of how long you let it 'fizz' before you click. 2-3 seconds of fill time results in plenty of fuel for ignition. I've been experimenting ; smaller loads...

New Mexico? My guess is the high altitude you live in is affecting the pressure of some gas mechanism. (Unless I'm just really baked, it makes sense) Maybe drop the Iolite guys an email. I'm curious to see how responsive their customer service is, but I really have nothing to bug them...

Quick update and thoughts; I think humidity is a factor in ignition. Earlier today, moments after my post above, the IO ignited on first click! More research needed. I'll keep track of its usage in humidity. In AK, where its not humid at all, it would start right up... hot and muggy in these...

Unfortunately, no go for the water-pipe. Too risky/much work staying relatives houses/always on the go. I have been using the mouthbong technique but that only does so much. Past few days I've been letting the thing do about 2-3 cycles before I hit it. That irritating hot air is just replaced...
