I see. I guess it must. If there's a change in the output from the FTV GO at full to almost dead it's imperceptible to me. The output of the (admittedly shitty) Alpine on the other hand, absolutely gets weaker as the battery wanes.

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I imagine since seconds are sold out they'll likely send me a "firsts". So there's a little redemption in the end, maybe.

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

The entire mouthpiece stem part is sheered clean off at the body. You could "fix" this somehow and probably get a serviceable piece out of it, but I doubt I will.

Yes, indeed. The chamber is basically a glass cup. I've tried to pull it all the way out the top but it seems you're supposed to open the case to remove it.

Right. And the other factor here is penetration. Slower creep up in temp should mean more heat penetration. A little more RE: batteries - The Li_On battery has perfectly consistent discharge every time no matter the % left in the battery. The Alpine seems to lose umph towards the bottom 25% of...

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Hey @Shit Snacks Please tell me again how I didn't need the $1.50 shipping insurance?

I can slide the chamber of this one up and down in the casing, if that's what you mean; and it came with those silicone discs as well. I experimented with the discs for a while and found I liked running it stock all the way, for dabs. I hadn't thought of using chamber depth to adjust heat, so...

No need to apologize. And, thank you! I'm learning.... From what I've read the battery type does make some difference, speed wise. You should see how fast it can click from cold. I would be surprised if any other IH were actually faster. I know that speed may not be desirable in some instances...

    Dynavap VapCap

I hadn't intended to buy an especially fast/hot IH, but apparently just the fact that it's a Li-On battery means a faster discharge and faster heat ups (although shorter battery life). The difference between the Alpine and the FTV GO is huge. The slower heating of the Alpine can produce decent...

    Collecting Ideas of Next Vaporizer

Howdy. Maybe post some concept art and specs, and let us have at it.

I had a feeling someone would say that and with a name like Planck, your response doesn't surprise me! You know what I meant though, specifically regarding the cap and it's click.... which is not triggered by an electronic device/mechanic but a change in shape due to temperature. I was...

What's in your vape right now?

All the time. I had filled the top of my Solo stem with ground Sundae Driver, put a drop of Grapes n Cream BHO in the middle surrounded by CBD isolate powder, and capped it off with ground Fuel Cake... All 50/50 hybrids! There was probably a hint of nearly every terp that exists in that pack...

This is the first I'm hearing about this! I've never had any mess with the coil and I put pretty large dab globs in it. I was considering switching to cotton rather than paying a DynaCoil "subscription". I should try it out and see if I find the results satisfactory. I assume the coil has...

    Dynavap VapCap

I can definitely see the appeal. The DynaVerse alone is a many splendored thing, and dauntingly complex. But the Waterwand is exactly what I need for dabs, right? No need for all of these stems and caps for me really.... I pretty much get high to enjoy my other hobbies which can be so expensive...

    Dynavap VapCap

For dabbing, through a rig, I can't imagine a faster but also more reliable set up really. Unless we're talking about something that you can load .3-.5 of concentrate in at a time and vape to nothing, and then you're probably sacrificing that taste you chase. The 2-4 hit load size means a real...

I'm also a huge sucker for things that work on principles of physics, like vapcap. I think it's design is a brilliant inspiration.

I think this is my personal mantra in vaping, and may be what drew me to DV. Many of these lab equipment dab rigs I see with so many moving, technical, and breakable parts, just seem overly complicated.

Most people load the coil with something that gives you +-3 hits, much too small an amount to get anywhere near overflowing from the caps edges. Sometimes you can see the vapor starting to form inside the glass Waterwand as it stands in the IH, so some of the concentrate is being vaped by the...

I went to DV for the Coil as a dab rig with IH and it's really excellent for that purpose. Currently using an 18 inch Roor with the Waterwand. I hadn't been using anything but BHO for years. But after getting my second Solo and enjoying it I decided to try the DV with flower. I found the DV was...

    Vaping CBD isolate

Yes, absolutely. Most of the vapes I know of would take a little cotton ball for concentrate, no problem. I mostly use DynaCoil through a rig to dab my homemade BHO with CBD isolate powder, full spectrum CBG wax, full spectrum CBN and/or CBDV added. I load each hit separately with whatever I...
