    Firewood Vaporizer

Updated Firewood 2.1 is now available! Based on all of your feedback, we made a few internal improvements while leaving the form factor the same. The biggest improvements are faster heat up times and less overall time holding the button. It also comes with a stronger battery that is rated for...

hey, firewood here. It is possible to get some browning of the wood at the hot spots, but it also may be a sign that you are going too hot. The 2.0 that I have been using for a couple months doesn't have any browning at all. Did you have any more specific question(s)?

    Firewood Vaporizer

damn, sorry to hear that. It definitely won't affect performance but we can fix it if you'd like. We also made one other tweak to the process a few weeks ago (after you got yours) aimed at preventing cracks. Again, it is up to you if you want a fix, just PM me.

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems. The thought of you throwing it away makes me want to cry. Regarding that crack, there was one batch in the first week of production where we had a problem in one of the router steps. We changed the way we do that step and the issue is 100% fixed now...

Thanks so much for the awesome video and sorry for the delayed response. Nice idea on the capsule/mouthpiece configuration. I knew it was just a matter of time before people started to experiment with that. There are definitely a few possible configurations that one can make. The good news...

    Firewood Vaporizer

So we had a few units in the first batch that got some cracks due to how we were routing the heat chamber. We made a change to the process which prevents the cracks going forward, but it looks like we missed one or two units slipping by QC. We are working with dickler to resolve the issue...

The hole can be increased, but you need to be really careful and i really don't think it is necessary. Try this as a test - draw a full lung of air with the unit empty. You should find that you can fill your lungs pretty quickly, much quicker than you'd ever take a hit. So clearly the hole...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Sorry they won't fit in the older models. I won't be able to add a valve any time soon, but if you make an order and ask for a bigger hole, i suppose I could do that. However, I really don't think it is a good idea since that hole is not very restrictive and it really should be used with very...

    Firewood Vaporizer

It'll probably be close to the original price but we may do an intro deal. Yes, the air intake is the little hole, but that turns out to be plenty big enough. Think about a one hitter bat where there is a hole that small for a long distance. I added an extra magnet where the hole was, so...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Hey everybody we are working on a new model! This one looks a lot like the original but there are definitely some key improvements. This one is almost all convection and is much easier to load/unload than the original. Also, it is a little easier to control, harder to cause combustion. We...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Hey guys, sorry i have been absent so long, that massdrop was way bigger than I expected and i was pretty much working non-stop for the last month. Regarding the brown spots that form over time near in the area above the switch... This is normal and will happen on all of the wood varieties...

    Firewood Vaporizer

I don't expect to see any nichrome failures. We use 24 gauge, which is much thicker than the wire used in vape pens and our wire is sandwiched between two glass tubes, so it is very well protected. I have looked inside :) There are no plastic sheaths. We use NiMH batteries, which don't leak...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Yes that is normal. The switch component that is below the wood is on the right side so the button works better on that side. I'm sorry for the late reply. It's hard to keep up with all of the social media and emails. In general if anybody posts a question that doesn't get answered, feel...

    Firewood Vaporizer

Are you sure it is charged? Can you try charging it until the light on the charger (the part that goes into the wall) turns green, then see if you can get it to heat up? Even if it isn't loaded, you can still just check to see if it heats. After a full charge if you turn it on and hold the...

    Firewood Vaporizer

well 1A is probably not enough anyway, unless it is rated at 1A when forcing 12V but will do more at lower voltages. If you do try it, definitely DO NOT use 6V or above. 4.5V might be enough if the voltage doesn't sag when the load is applied. You could either just try it and see if it works or...
