Yeah one would be metal outside beads inside the other is glass outside metal inside. It depends on what the verdavap is made out of if it would work with the wand.

Dynavaps arent my daily driver but Ive still put a couple hundred heat cycles through it with no melting. I will say there was a while where I didnt have anything there and luckily didnt melt the button, I did put a little dent into my cap though. Ill need to dig through my goodie bag and see...

Im a little confused, I have been running mine with the wood closet to the button and the rubber where my cap presses on it. Should the order be reversed? Does adding a spacer make it click faster since it brings the tip of the cap closer to the center?

I would start at 400-415 with the dc. I have mine set around 415-420.

On top of that the dc micro pid is just a good pid. I love the layout. Power and xlr in the front, power cord in the back. I have a pid now that has the xlr and power cord on the side with the xlr behind the power cord. It’s a wonky design and I’m tempted to ask the builder of it the reasoning...

Yeah you would probably need a pid with a more traditional on/off switch that could always be in the on position.

It’s an extra you can purchase. It’s a little tube of glass with a piece of silicone on one end. End with silicone goes into dyna stem and the other end goes into the oven. Gvb I’m talking about the one right from firewood.
